How do I increase the maximum number of ship slots?

I am wondering what files to edit in order to effectively double the maximum amount of ship slots? I thought it might be as simple as editing the research entity files of maxshipslots but I don't know what line to edit if that is correct, or is there other files responsible for the maximum amount of ship slots per player?

    modifierType "ShipMaxSlots"
    baseValue 0.000000
    perLevelValue 150.000000

Edit the perLevelValue. It adds on to what you already have.

ive looked in "game constants" and "galaxy" and i dont see the modifier type... can you tell me what file that is in? ive looked everywhere with find and replace in the code... thanks....
