repeated building

okay, umm. is there a repeated build feature in this game. in most other rts's there is a repeated build where you can just hit a button and the factories will build units until they run out of resources or until they are told to stop.  if not, can this be a new feature in v1.1 final?

That sure would be great if they did. I'd love if they'd take it one step further, and make it so it auto builds "replacement" ships. Just think, I've got a fleet of 10 of each ship type; a couple get destroyed, and the factories just start automatically making "refills".

didn't think of that, but cool idea, im a teensy bit ocd, so when my ships are destroyed, i build a few more so that they are an even number... YAY FOR OCD

sorry... How about this then:

We could have pre-defined templates for fleets, where you pick a fleet for your empire to build and it makes the entire fleet at once

...that way, your fleets will be perfect!

I'm not sure about this feature, but I'm okay with it so long as you can toggle it off. What happens when you have it to repeat build a balanced fleet, but your opponent spams carriers, and so your gonna need more flak and carriers. Which would involve turning the repeat build off. And besides, I find that I have too much time to click on every ship and build evenly numbered and balanced ships. There isn't really a uber rush to get the right amount of each ship, and therefore this feature isn't really a *must*. But, on the up and up, it would be neat.

by the way were you talking about the ocd doctor in that one episode?


but more to the point, i just thaught it would be cool to add a feature like this, if anyone here knows how to contact a dev about it please tell me, i want one of them to think about it.

if anyone here knows how to contact a dev about it please tell me, i want one of them to think about it.

Wouldn't be surprised if they've already seen it. But I believe they watch the Beta Feedback forum like hawks.
