Worst start ever???

Can anyone beat this???

1 phase lane from my homeworld out to a desert planet

Milita is: 7x cobalt, 3xLRM, 4xGarda, 3xkodiak, 4xKrosov

Cykur has proclaimed this the worst start he has ever seen - can anyone beat it???

can anyone beat it?

One lane to a Dead Asteroid, which had one other lane to an enemy homeworld, which had access to all the other worlds in the system.
Got that using the in game map builder, though that map usually spawns something normal.

one lane to desert with 2 extractors
6 cobalt 3 lrm 4 garda 3 kodiak 4 krosov

1 lane to volcano with 3 extractors
2 cobalt 3 lrm 3 garda 2 krosov

lane after desert went to a dead-asteroid
dead-asteroid lead to a terran
3cobalt 2 lrm 2 garda 1 kodiak 3 krosov

terran gave me a phase lane THROUGH my homeworld , about haf a planet size away showing up a 2 extractor asteroid



i even thought i found a bug, cuase i was sure there was no starting asteroid.... they say i just overlooked it...., until i saw the phase lane going THROUGH my homeworld instead of starting there

i've only seen this happen once, only in this sitation (sucky planets etc.) the map (medium-random) ended in a draw......

Actually, what made it the worst I had seen was the jump past the fully stocked desert was a Volcano with I think about 8-10 frigs. His asteroid was 4 jumps away, and to top it off, he was only 4 jumps from an enemy HW on the other side. Talk about being bottled in....

At least you were 1 jump from a Volcano....this would be a normal bad start. It would suck, but at least you can send in your cap ship and cobalts to clear it out. Hack was stuck in cul-de-sac. Only one path out, with 2 planets in a row, so he couldn't even easily bounce ships by them.

That's attached to a lava with 2 mines....bleh...ok

That lava has two lanes, attached to TWO empty asteroid fields...ok, now i'm pissed a little.

The two asteorid fields have 3 lanes and 2 lanes...respectively.

Each has one lane that heads my asteroid, two mines of course.

The 3 phase line empty field has one lane that goes to nothingness in a plasma cloud.

The 3rd of those lines goes to an asteroid field with 1 metal mine....random map generator's feeling generous.

The 2nd on the other minefield goes to a dead asteroid....wow...

Besides the lava which had two mines and the roid which had two mines, the next closest planet was 4 jumps away. Wow.

Nah - mine was worse
It took me 20-30 minutes, plus some resource injections to get past the first planet with a fleet (i.e. take down the militia and colonise the planet) so I could fight an actual player!!!

single phase lane that lead to a chain of other planets that took almost 20 minutes to traverse...

Homeworld -> Heavily Stocked ice or Heavily Stocked Volcanic (both with only 2 mines each) -> ice went to fully stocked Desert and the volcanic lead to to my first actual asteroid (not connected to homeworld)! Meanwhile, another player had 3 roids with full mines connecting right to his homeworld.

This was a Randome Medium Map.

2 lanes:

1 leads to a normal asteroid, dead end
1 leads to a normal volcano (lightly defended) one lane again to pirate base

Yes I've got that beat hands down. I was AFK for the first 19 mins in a 2v2 on a 20 planet map and still won the game by a landslide. That is the worst start ever.
