Developers, stop making awesome RTS games without including a built-in ladder!

Hello! McFly! Why do you developers make awesome RTS games and NOT include a built-in ladder? Are you high? Having a built-in ladder makes an RTS game 100 times more fun and comeptitive.

I'd rather an awesome game, ladder or not. I personally don't care either way as I don't really play online.

What exactly do you mean when you say "ladder"? Are you talking about having a single player campaign or a competitive ladder or league for clans? If it's the latter, I think clan ladders are best kept separate from games themselves. I don't see any reason why Sins clans can't agree to form a ladder league at one of the many online multiplayer league websites (ie, Clanbase, TeamWarfare, etc.).

I think we may see something along the lines of a ladder / automatch when the common multiplayer platform gets finished in the near future. We know for certain that Demigod will have it (well at the very least it should) so I'm sure Sins will have something similar.

I support this. An RTS without something like a battle.net for Starcraft or Warcraft is only half as good, no matter how much the rest of the game rocks.

Sins of the Solar Empire needs better matchmaking... better predefined and competitive gameplay oriented setups, like a good 2vs2 with propper team distribution and so on. And than it needs a ladder...a worldranking.. something like the ESL supports or so.
