need some modding help

game crashes after adding ship to rogue race

i added FrigatePirateMedium_U to the frigate list, i got this to work with the other races colony ships but when i use this ship it crashes, does anyone know why?

the way it crashes is very specific tho, whenever i move my mouse over the icon the ships at it minidumps

Check the Entity file for this ship

You are probably missing the "HudIcon" or another similar reference file, and if you copy those parts from an entity file that works, then you should fix it enough to play with it in-game until you can more specifically identify which reference is broken...
