This was a test to find cheaters. It turns out that the two people who replied to this thread themselves were cheaters. They were reported and have been permanently banned from Rockhard Forums and Steelship Games.
Rockhard Forums is German, and therefore, not being able to understand German, I'm not a member. "Steelship Games"/"Steel Ship Games" doesn't exist (0 Google hits).
I got the same PM as Earthpigg.
Looks like this 'minidump' is as retarded/deluded/illiterate/uninformed as your typical Nigerian scam email writer.
As it happens I am
kind of a cheat,
on single player, and have been attempting to write a trainer (since 1.04 made the old ones obsolete) for testing tactics without having to play through an entire game. So far I've only managed to freeze credits. I had to join gamehacking.com to get access to trainer writing tutorials (I feel dirty, but it turns out most of it is just trainers), and found out about how difficult multiplayer game hacking really is.
In multiplayer, game data isn't stored on your computer, it's on the server, and in SoaSE with it's P2P networking it can be stored on several clients too. You can't change the data on all of them, or on the server, therefore your program can't work, and is a fake/trojan. The best a multiplayer cheat can do is fiddle the graphics to show things that are hidden, but things like punkbuster can show when you're doing that by grabbing screens.
Trainers need keyloggers to work, just as no doubt your cheat would, and saying people need to be logged into your server in Poland is BS, it just means any data collected by the keylogger (Paypal/WoW/Steam/banking passwords) is sent back to you.
Yes I am a nerd (a skinny one in fact), who runs game servers and will be studying game development this autumn (part of my reason for learning a lot about game cheats, so I can counter them). You're just a retarded script kiddy, who MIT would laugh at just like the rest of us.
