Here's the latest models, the light carrier and the command cruiser (apologies for the poor screenshot).

Thanks for all the kind words.
I like how the designs are extremely utilitarian... very mechanical. I would think these ships were created by a race of intelligent machines (haha MASS EFFECT ref to the gell)EDIT: I hope those massive engines make some big thrust, hahaEDIT x2: Can you give us an ETA? (It's okay if it's really broad; it is a new faction after all.)
Thanks, they are designed to be utilitarian and modular (if you look closely you will see that all the ships of the same size class share similar engines). The faction I'm working on is very focused and not very creative by nature, so the ships are low tech compared to the other factions, but well engineered and easy to produce.
Not really sure on an ETA. I am nearly finished with the ship modelling now, but I still need to do all the texturing and the modelling of the planet structures, as well as finishing off the gameinfo files. I will probably release a version of all the ships as a mini mod in the next couple of month or so, but I don't know as yet how long it will take to complete the entire thing.
Great work, what program are you using?
I'm using XSI.
i can help you with texturing and all 2D graphics
Thanks. Currently I am going to see how I get on with this myself, as although I haven't done much texturing, I am experienced with photoshop/gimp and it maybe that once I crack the technique I will be ok. But if I find I'm struggling I will let you know.
AI love symetry so even though I like the TEC ships, many of the larger ones are lop-sided. I always wanted a human Capital ship to have a more traditional shape like that of a raised supercenter or fo'castle just like the new battleship you have proposed.Great work.
I'm very pleased with the Battleship. I wanted it to have parallels with traditional battleships, while also looking a bit like the Kol, which is my favourite Sins ship. I plan to make another capital ship along similar lines.
