Mars Effect 1.5 and Sins 1.03 problems

haven't seen any posts on mars 1.5 so...with the new Sins 103 patch and many mod issues with it, will mars 1.5 be working with Uzii's mod to fix/edit the mods so they will work with 1.03? I know Uzii has been working on it.

Probably a better idea to ask in the Mod's thread or review that thread to see if the author has put up any information.

And though I don't know for sure, I'm reasonably certain you can count on the major mods, if not all of them, being updated for 1.03/1.04/1.05/etc...until they get tired of it. And if/when they get tired of it, I'm sure they'll announce it in the thread.

We (modders) can only update so much without the Reference Data. Simply put; Without this from the devs, we cannot guarantee an update that is fully integrated into 1.03.

My mod shouldn't effect 1.03 too much, but this is mainly because I didn't have many files that 1.03 changed.

So, in conclusion; its only a matter of time, until we get the files everyone needs, but is out of our hands.

Edit: And yes, things like this would probably be best in the Mod in question's thread.

In the mod directory of the forum. mods usually have MOD in its name somewhere so its not hard to see. theres also a sticky post in that section with the list of mods.

Yar, please just search for my mod and post there, keeps the thread number down.

Until I can get my hands on 1.03's text versions of the binary files, I can't update The Mars Effect to work with it. 1.5 works fine with Sins 1.02 with the fix on page 5 of my release thread, but like I said, can't do anything yet for 1.03.

I believe there posted in the mod section already, it least the ones i have been using seem to work in 1.03 without any problems.

i also have problems with mars effects 1.5 on a 1.03 install. when starting a new game,
all galaxy names are missing, their names replaced by a -string not found- message.
icons missing for changing to medium or large maps as well. i would love to try to fix this myself but need pointers as to what files where actually corrupted.

i followed the instructions for installing the mod, but when i start the game and try to use the mod, it doesn't show up on the list(in options).

Like he said, Mars Effect has *not* been updated yet for 1.03 so yes, it won't work in combination with other mods nor alone.
