This is essentially a do it yourself mod that will let you change the number of pauses available in a multiplayer game from 10 to whatever you desire. (Note this only works if you're the host of the game)

Note: This invloves editing a main game file so be sure to make a back up of it just in case. (This mod is explained  in very simplistic step by step terms for those that are new to modding, so apologies to the pros for the hand holding explainations   )

Step #1: Go to your Setting folder for Sinfs of a solar empire, by default it's int he following directory for windows xp users: C:\Documents and Settings\"your user name here"\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting

Step #2: open the user.setting file with notepad

Step #3: Use the ctrl F shot cut to search for the following line MultiPlayerMaxPauseCount and change the # from 10 to whatever you feel is needed. (I set it to 9999999 and had no problems)

Step #4: save the file, and start a new game, making sure you;re the one hosting it. Now the # of pauses will be set to the number you chose.

Oh and this will also effect the # of pauses available in saved mp games, so starting a new game for it to take effect is not needed.
