. Their locations were based on a snapshot of our little part of the galaxy, with the galactic center being towards the bottom of the Sins map. Each star is color coordinated based off their actual star color. Planetary contents are of course, only educated assumptions/guesses, but done with the Sins Story in mind! You will find a single desert planet orbiting the red star Draconis. TEC start off with a formidable ammount of territory. Most of it is just trader outposts with a few hangers for defense, allowing the Advent to reign supreme with little opposition over the undefended sectors. More towards the Vasari's front is where most of the TEC's forces are tied up. Because of the recent Advent attacks, everyone has been called back to fight, and a new fleet is ready at the Moon orbiting Earth. (The Trader Capital exists dont worry). The TEC will have to sacrifice much in order to survive.
Although each star was placed based off a snapshot, their locations may not be exact or even close at all due to the fact that the Z axis is randomly generated every time. All binary systems (stars with A and

are suppost to be so close to eachother that they look like they're in the same system. That has only happened for me a few times, but it looks amazing!
Phase lanes and distances are relatively short, so this is by no means a "month long game" sort of map. On hard TEC/hard Vasari I was able to finish the task within a few days (it was a lot easier after my girlfriend left me, haha!). So I believe it fits for a decent lengthy "campaign mode."
Also I am unable to edit each races starting researches, so concider you're starting fleets "hero fleets."
