3D modler for Hire

I have this total conversion mod I was thinking of doing. But I have no 3D modeling skills, so I was wondering, would there be any 3d Artist that can create models for my mod.

Actually, in general, is there any 3D artist that would be willing to create models for any mod for a little compensation? Unless of course you would be willing to do it for credit and pride if the project seems right to you.

The model has to be ready to be put into the game right away. No need to do any conversion.

Also for the general public, would be willing to pay a small price to have models created for your mod?

There is more to a mod than models. Especially a total conversion.

Making models for sins would take time; creating a UV texture, bump, spec (if sins uses that). You're most likely offering $20 or something; that means less than a dollar per hour, which isn't exactly worth it.

That doesnt mean that there isnt someone out there who will do it for free. Some people like to do things simply because they are fun.

I have some modelling exp, but none so ever for games...texturing I really suck at, being colorblind and that crap

But this is something I tried last year needed 2 weeks, both modells are around 1000-2000 poly :

Thats some pretty good modeling. Modeling for games isnt too difficult. You want to try and create your object in the fewest number of polygons as possible and still look good. This allows the game to run faster and more smoothly. To get the rest of the detail, textures help to provide finer detail that has more subtle lines that look to appear 3d but are in fact 2d.

I know, have been looking at some sites for gamemodelling, on pics above i have only used
smoothing groups..no turbosmooth.

Whn I get some fri time i will do some more modelling and most probably some ships for sins...guess i just have to find someone to texture.
