Ok guys.
Just want to say that Sins is a very solid and fun game. And I enjoy playing it in single and multi.
I have a few "problems" with your online service though...
As it is now the online service could just aswell have been released in 1998.
No, I am serious. This is how they did it on the original Starcraft 10 freaking years ago.
And its not good enough.
I have seen from future patch notes that you will be trying to fix connect issues and ghost games etc...
That great, but its still a few things that really should be included in a modern RTS.
Matchmaking......
really. come on. Its been around since at least Wc3 and its a great tool for people who want to quickly find games. Just choose your preferences and start searching. The current system can still be around, but adding this will help ALOT.
Trying to manually find game, try to join but you cant because its not really there, then join a game only to see that its not the map/settings you want, then try and host to get people to join but nobodys joining etc....... its all very 10 years ago.
As I said, you dont have to remove this, just add matchmaking as an alternative.
Ladder/Ranking system.
This will accompany the matchmaking. A basic win/loss sytem that ranks people maybe with a level or "rank" system like Admiral etc..
So that when a noob searches for a game with matchmaking he will only get matched with other noobs, if that is what he wants.
Of course, there is always the thing with smurf accounts, but its better then the current system.
Now, I refuse to believe that I am the first person ever to say this.
Infact I think it has been said alot before. So I would like the hear the reason why this is not included. Why are we back to Red Alert in terms of online service? There has to be a reason.
