Making blatant divisions is without reason, and is counter productive. Lets leave this mod to be only an interpretation, and not the real thing.
If the devs feel that there is a necessity for the change of the portrayl of the Vasari the Lore can always be rewritten and clarified.

the problem is grandmu, that all of you are going about it in a way that is 100% aggressive and derogatory, with statements like "you guys didnt blah" and "it was supposed to be like blah" and "I really was expecting blah which wasnt delievered"

Two, a complete lack, and a slight defficiency are two different things. You are not in no position to critisize anyone yet, being a new member.
Pulse lasers look the way they do because that's how lasers have typically always looked on sci-fi in TV and movies (that's the style we're going after). We're not going after total realism here and it was never our intent to do so. If we where then you'd never see the laser weapons anyway except for shield impacts
